Why TMT in Uganda......

Why TMT in Uganda...

Rafsanjan Abbey Tatya

The American Top Model, hosted by Tyra Banks, is one of the best fashion-motivated shows sending pulses world over and its Ugandan version Top Model Trend (TMT) will surely live to its billing.
TMT Uganda launched this year with the grand finale scheduled for November at Serena Kampala Hotel.
TMT is not a TV show but, just like Banks' show, it has attracted beautiful and talented ladies and gentlemen from different corners in the world of fashion to come and compete for top positions in fashion.
Hairdressing, fashion designing and cat walking is the main agenda.
One striking feature of the show is the volume of fashion accessories and wears involved. The show brings the latest fashion wears of all time. The latest hairstyles and diverse clothing styles are also showcased in the program.
The show is, however, meant to be a trend setter for the public. So most ladies who will attend the show should be able to take with them the latest trend – thus breathing new life Uganda’s fashion industry.
This is like putting Vogue Magazine pages to life and watching them walk on stage.
